Our clinic provides unique services for pain that are usually only available in hospitals. We do not prescribe addictive medications. Rather, we focus on other effective means of controlling pain including nerve blocks, ketamine infusions, and nerve cryotherapy. These solutions are designed to help a patient overcome the most severe periods of pain and focus on their own self-directed recovery.
These pain treatments complement our regenerative medicine protocols using PRP and stem cell injections. These injections can be quite painful during and in the few days after before they start reducing pain and healing the intended target area. Unlike most clinics who provide these treatments, we focus on making our patients feel as comfortable as possible during the injections and in the few days following.
We offer pain management for the following:
- Nerve entrapment
- Nerve pain
- Shingles pain (herpes zoster pain, post-herpetuc neuralgia)
- Meralgia Paresthetica
- Neck & Shoulder Pain
Just as our methods for controlling pain help with our stem cell and PRP treatments, they are also perfect for helping patients recover from trauma or surgery. Unlike our clinic, after surgery or trauma most patients throughout the country are given a prescription of various pills and sent on their way.
However, pills are not the most effective means to treat this kind of pain. Additionally, some pills are addictive and continued reliance on such addictive medications for surgical and traumatic pain control has contributed to the epidemic of prescription drug dependence.
We are now offering these additional treatments:
- Genicular Nerve Radiofrequency Ablation
- Extracranial Nerve Blocks for Headaches
- Buprenorphine (Sublocade, Suboxone)
While these addictive medications are effective and generally safe if used for a very limited period of time after surgery or trauma, continued use is almost always detrimental. Our clinic uses alternatives that are even more effective than pills and are that are not addicting.
We are a ketamine clinic but we do much more than just ketamine. For the physical pain of CRPS and the psychological pain of depression we have a system to ensure patients who have these conditions are treated with a complete, comprehensive approach.
“I am extremely nervous when I visit a doctor. (any sort of medical facility) Dr. Fisk and his staff were so kind and welcoming. They had no problem catering to my eccentricities and made me feel safe. Dr. Fisk explained everything before and during my procedures and is helping me on my journey with pain management. I strongly recommend Dr. Fisk and his staff they have also been able to get me referrals for further help and treatment as well.”
