Primary Care Physician

We are currently seeking a primary care physician to join our team.  Please contact [email protected] to set up a meeting with Drs. Fisk and Julian.

Psychiatrist

Acute Pain Therapies is seeking an experienced and compassionate psychiatrist to join our private practice pain management specialty team. We treat patients by using a multi-disciplinary approach. We offer both acute pain and chronic pain management with a large variety of options. We also have the longest standing IV ketamine infusion practice in the state. We also currently provide Spravato. We operate in the heart of Bellevue, WA. Drs. Fisk and Julian, the original and current owners and operators of acute pain therapies, are board certified anesthesiologists with sub-specialization with acute and chronic pain, respectively. Dr. Fisk developed the IV ketamine service and has consulted with others in the community to help establish their own ketamine services. We have a TMS machine capable of deep TMS and iTBS. We had an active TMS service until our psychiatrist moved. We would like to re-establish our TMS service, and offer a larger variety of standard and cutting edge psychiatric treatment options.

As a psychiatric provider at Acute Pain Therapies, you will be responsible for conducting initial intakes and providing ongoing psychiatry services which include:

  • Psychiatric medication management
  • Coordinating candidates for APT’s well-established Spravato and IV ketamine infusion services
  • Establishing and running TMS service if interested
  • Psychotherapy if interested
  • Addiction medicine if interested
  • Ketamine assisted psychotherapy if interested
  • Introduction of other interventional options for treatment resistant cases if interested
    • Examples: MDMA once approved or as a study, saint protocol, combined ketamine with TMS protocols, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial diagnostic interview / intake
  • Develop treatment plans including medications and interventions offered by the practice and/or community
  • Collaborate with patients and other APT providers on a frequent basis to optimize treatment protocols
  • Option to utilize TMS machine provided by the practice
  • Establish other treatment resistant interventional options

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with board certification in psychiatry, or
  • Prior experience with TMS
  • Preferable (but not required) additional qualifications: 2+ years of experience, familiarity with interventional options for treatment resistant psychiatric illnesses such as TMS, IV Ketamine, Spravato, ECT, etc. Experience treating addiction.

Nurses

RN

We operate a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) dedicated to excellence in care and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in managing ASCs to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the ASC, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards (CMS, OSHA, AAAHC, etc.).
  • Manage patient care delivery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing services, to maintain the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Supervise and collaborate with clinical and administrative staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and resource management to meet patient care and operational needs.
  • Implement and maintain quality improvement programs and infection control protocols.
  • Develop and update ASC policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide hands-on patient care when necessary, ensuring exceptional service and outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between physicians, staff, and patients to facilitate seamless communication and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an ASC setting, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., AAAHC, CMS).
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and operational workflows.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Registered Nurse

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our rapidly growing Pain Management practice. Hours are day shift without working nights, weekends or  holidays. You will be providing patient care by playing an important part in various aspects of the medical practice, including conducting patient assessments, administering treatments and medication, patient education, performing diagnostic tests/procedures and following up with patients care. This practice includes treatments such as nerve catheter placement, spine and joint injections under fluoroscopy and infusion therapies

Current RN License in the state of Washington and Current BLS is a must. Experience with starting IVs and managing infusions preferred.

On-the-job training available.

Medical Office Staff

Front Office Admin

At least two years of medical office receptionist or patient registrar or medical office managerial experience is mandatory, as is familiarity with the basics of office visit and procedure scheduling, medical terminology, medical insurance, medication and procedural prior authorization.

This is a position for a Medical Office Coordinator in a pain management office with one provider/director and one rotating nurse currently employed. Patient volume is currently low but building.

The job will include the following:

Front office tasks including answering a busy phone, checking voicemail, filing, scanning, scheduling patients, greeting patients, preparing the necessary paperwork for patients, making referrals.

Billing related tasks including coordination with the billing company, processing payments, generating invoices, pre-authorization with insurance companies, other phone calls with insurance companies.

Marketing related tasks including coordinating planning and preparation for marketing related events and working with our remote marketing service.

Other office management related tasks including inventory tracking/management, coordinating various services (linens, janitorial, food, etc), and helping out as necessary with problems that arise from day-to-day.

Patient related tasks include the ability to perform patient intake including checking vital signs, fielding basic medical office questions patients might have when they call
